Popcorn Popping

.

Growing up on the west coast I never understood the song popcorn popping on the apricot tree.
It wasn't until I moved to Virginia that I got it.
It is now Sienna's favorite song to sing and we sing it every morning on the way to the gym about 8 times.
As soon as she sees the trees it reminds her.
I have to admit I love the "popcorn trees" I always get sad when they turn green.

I have heard the trees are beautiful there this time of year. My parents went to Washington D.C on a mission and my mom loved the spring out there. My parents are coming to Virginia next week to see my moms brother and I hope there will still be blossoms for her to see.

Aren't they amazing? I love it all except that they make me sneeze :) My kids all point out the 'popcorn popping' whenever we drive past them, I love it.
