Beach Vacation Part 1

So I am sitting at the beach right now listening to the waves outside my window...ahhhh it really is my favorite place on earth!
We weren't sure we were going to get here this year. We had a lot of things working against us but at the very last minute (literally the night before we left we booked a house)
We were waiting for Rachel to have her baby which I am happy to say hurray she did...cutest little guy...Hudson James Jeffries came on July 9th at 9:17 am. After a very long night Rach did it!

So all summer we were waiting for the baby because I had to be in the delivery room of course! :)

We had a wedding to go to at the beach on the 10th. Rachel was due on the 10th! It was crazy...We also had Coop's all star baseball team in their tournament until the 9th.
Anyway it all worked out so we could get here for the wedding and we booked a house for the following week.
We met Conwey's sister Jayne's family here and the kids are having a blast. I have barely even seen Sienna because she is just with her cousin Lana 24 hrs a day.
We were talking about how nice vacation is as the kids get older. It's so much easier. The kids occupy themselves so well.

We met Holly, Jackson and Brian for dinner. Sienna was so happy to see her bestest friend Jackson.

So here's to the first few days...and we had two nieces arrive today and more sisters tomorrow...lots more fun to be had....stay tuned.

Summaaa

Summer so far has been great..we have been out of school for a week in a half and I already feel time is going to fast.

Here is a little of what we have been doing so far...

Coop's team won the world series championship...now we are into his all star season...Coop lives for baseball!

Jackson started swimming for our neighborhood pool and it's been the best thing ever!

Sienna has become quite the little fish so far this summer..it's soooo nice!

She can never get enough of her favorite 2 year old Willie...

She started tennis lessons and LOVES it! Every day asks when she gets to go again.

Hunter went on a High Adventure camp to the beach...this is how he slept every night...it was too hot in the tent.

Rach had a birthday! Came up and spent the day with us...so fun.

Sienna got stuck...made us laugh....

Sienna is already goin for rides with cute boys! She actually told me Michael's a good driver mom don't worry...as they 4 wheeled up the multch. Very funny.

Fast Forward 12 years...ahhhhhh

So one week down...and trust me we are not counting down! We love summertime!

End of the year wrap up...

So today is the last day of school...yipee! I am so so excited to just sleep in a little and not have to make lunches everyday!

So first I wanted to show you how I find Jackson's room every single morning before he leaves for school...

Now I will show you how Cooper and Hunter leave their rooms every single morning...

So this is how I left Jackson's bed this morning.....

So I didn't even write about Cooper's baseball season yet. He had a great team and they won every game, both playoff games and the world series game. It's amazing how much more fun it is when your on the winning team. :)

Hunter's team also had a great year but lost the Championship game. :(

Jackson's team....well they were the loosing team that all the other teams loved playing.

This was after the Championship Game. He had a lot of fun.

And you would think baseball would be over..but no....he's now on the all star team....practices every night...games through July. Sigh. He sure loves it though.

So with today being THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL we aren't excited at all around here..:) we have a tradition of going to Baskin Robbins and getting some ice cream.

Today I saw they had pink bubblegum ice cream which was my favorite as a kid (that and mint chocolate chip) I was temped to get it for old times sake but I used will power. Actually I think I have gotten it as an adult and it's just not the same...you take a bite and then have to chew the gum, but then you want another bite..but your still chewing the gum. Oh well I will just have to remember how great it was as a kid.

Sienna and Jackson love this tradition though...I mean who wouldn't right?

Ahhh so summer is here and we are HAPPY! Hunter is especially excited to sleep in after Seminary all year, although he starts summer football training next week at 7:30 am so not much sleeping in for him.
